Brief Biography:
There is some confusion b/w her and another woman named Umm al-Darda (al-Sughra or younger) (a Tab'iyya) and also wife of Abu al-Darda. It is said that the younger Umm al-Darda is the one who has narrated many ahadeeth from companions.
